Say.Rip — The True World Awakens

Archive note

Japanese arcade flyer for Say.Rip, a 1988 action game by Taito released at 100 yen per play. The poster depicts a skull-faced gunman in sunglasses and plaid shirt, flanked by suited skeleton enforcers, wielding a rifle against a backdrop of explosive typography. The tagline urges obedience and consumption in equal measure. A artifact of the late-80s arcade boom when ultra-violence and anti-establishment imagery sold quartets of tokens to Tokyo teenagers and salarymen alike. Collectors of Japanese arcade ephemera and cult game design will recognize this as a minor legend in bootleg action game promotion.

Catalogued, not yet released. This artifact will become available to acquire soon.

One artifact. One owner. On acquisition it is permanently retired from the archive. You receive the high-resolution file and a signed certificate of exclusivity.
