L'Inconnu. La Révolte.
Coming soonArchive note
A neoclassical allegorical figure—rendered with an afro, holding a burning tricolor flag—leads a revolution through smoke and rubble. The painting style evokes Eugène Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People, but reimagined as a figure of unknowable identity and contemporary resistance. Housed in a gilt frame, it collapses 19th-century revolutionary iconography with modern identity politics. A collector's piece for those tracing the intersection of classical propaganda art and speculative political imagery.
