A recovered promotional poster for an alternate-history Soviet film adaptation of George Orwell's 1984, apparently produced in the USSR during the height of the Cold War. The layout—Cyrillic newspaper headline, dark sunglasses, warm sepia tones—suggests state-sanctioned reinterpretation of Western dystopian fiction. The tagline promises theatrical release soon ("скоро в кинотеатрах"). Collectors of Cold War ephemera and speculative cinema will recognize the ideological irony embedded in this artifact.
